Our journey began in the high-pressure environment of our early careers in Sydney. We met during the "struggle phase" — that formative time of balancing big ambitions with the reality of building a life in NSW. One of us studied at the University of Sydney, the other at Charles Sturt University, but our shared vision for a more efficient, sustainable future kept us connected.
Those late-night problem-solving sessions and shared resilience forged more than just a friendship — they built the foundation for Urthkind.

We Saw a Design Flaw & Decided to Fix It
As professional engineers, we're trained to look at the world through the lens of efficiency and impact. When we examined the household products we used every day, we found a massive flaw: bulky plastic jugs, 90% water content, and a trail of pollution reaching our oceans and coastlines.
We applied our technical backgrounds to re-engineer an everyday essential — stripping away the plastic, unnecessary weight, and harsh chemicals to create our Dishwashing Sheets.
